Chattanooga State Rhea County Higher Education Center
This project involved the construction of a new technical education campus, including a new 30,000-square-foot two-story building and related site development, including parking, walkways, utility infrastructure, and landscaping. The structure is steel-framed with masonry, metal wall panels, and a glass facade. The HVAC system includes an AHU and a VAV reheat system. The facility features high-bay training spaces, laboratories, classrooms, and support areas to accommodate academic programs and provide work-simulation training for technical college students, specifically for the instruction of welding, automation, robotics, electrical, computer support technician, and emergency medical technician (EMT) courses. The project was executed with early releases of contract documents and equipment procurement packages to ensure streamlined progress.
