Encompass Health South Plains

The new Encompass Health facility is a 40-patient bed inpatient rehabilitation facility in Lubbock, Texas.

In addition to the 40 patient beds, the hospital includes a therapy gym, an exterior therapy courtyard, a kitchen and cafeteria for patients and staff, and other rehabilitation amenities for physical and occupational therapy. This facility offers the latest rehabilitative treatment and technology to its patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Early at the start of the project, our team held a submittal party for all electrical submissions with the engineers, vendors, and trade partners. As opposed to the traditional review by each individual, our team gathered and reviewed all submittal data as a team. This helped to eliminate rework and resubmissions for equipment with long lead times.

Our team later completed a 26-bed, 21,000 square-foot expansion of the existing facility which includes a therapy room.
