Guidewell Innovation Center

Guidewell Innovation Center is a 92,000-square-foot, 3-story LEED-certified research building located in Medical City at Lake Nona. Situated near the Sanford Burnham Institute and the University of Florida, the center offers space for world-class health and life science research and services.

Guidewell Innovation Center is purposed to blend academic and commercial institutions in the ever-growing East Orlando area. This multi-tenant building is located in the heart of Lake Nona Medical City and has a flexible design envisioned to house laboratories, research centers, and office space. It is a world-class, state-of-the-art medical office building where space can be customized to fit a client’s needs, focused towards health and life science research.

We staffed our team with professionals who have the skills to recognize sustainable opportunities and employed effective and successful solutions to “green” challenges. Our team consistently made smart and environmentally conscience choices with construction waste, recycled materials, and use of regional building materials. The result is a sustainable facility with the criteria needed to seek LEED Silver certification.

In addition to the highly advanced research building, the project also consisted of construction of area utilities, a parking lot, associated lighting and paving, and a patio area that incorporated additional landscaping and a tabletop fountain.
