1. What made you consider the Future Field Leaders program?
I considered the Future Field Leaders program because it gave me the opportunity to learn directly in the field rather than in a classroom, which I believe has helped me grow and move up within the industry.
2. What made you decide to build a career with Hoar Construction?
I chose to build my career with Hoar Construction because the supportive, team-oriented work environment empowers me to learn, take ownership, and contribute to high-quality projects alongside people who genuinely care about doing things the right way.
3. How did the program help set you up to grow as a field leader?
This program helped me grow as a field leader thanks to the strong leadership around me and the willingness of others to invest time in helping me learn and develop.
4. What was your proudest moment in the program?
My proudest moment in the program was learning how to use a builder’s level and being able to verify work with more than just a tape measure.
5. Why should other people consider applying for the Future Field Leaders program?
People should consider this program because of the hands-on experience you gain making real decisions in the field, all while being surrounded by a team that truly wants you to succeed and will do everything they can to help you get there.
6. Do you feel like the program set you up for a successful career? How or why?
This program has set me up for success because of the people who are always willing to help—taking the time to sit down, dive deep into topics, and ensure I understand the work at a meaningful level.
