UAB Science & Engineering Complex

The new Science and Engineering Complex at the University of Alabama at Birmingham will add 100,000+ square feet to the campus.

The project begins with demolition of the existing 104,396 square-foot structure, then adds construction of a new 138,842 square-foot teaching and research lab facility for the public institution of higher education. The building consists of deep foundations, concrete structure, and MEB systems for the lab environment. The project site is in an urban environment and immediately adjacent to an occupied facility with significant pedestrian traffic.
