Construction for the Madison baseball facility and multipurpose venue is part of the Town Madison project, and the stadium will be an anchor element of the development. The ballpark will be home to the Rocket City Trash Pandas.
The ballpark, part of the larger 500-acre Town Madison project, will have a capacity of approximately 7,000 with a combination of fixed seating, premium suites, a stadium club, party decks, picnic areas, and standing-room-only areas.
The $39 million ballpark facility will be the home of the Rocket City Trash Pandas, a Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. The team is currently the Mobile BayBears and will begin playing in Madison under their new moniker in time for the 2020 season.
