Westpark Springs Behavioral Health
The Westpark Springs project is a single-story addition and renovation to an existing behavioral health hospital in Richmond, Texas. Opened in 2015, the hospital is a leading provider of inpatient and outpatient care that outgrew its previous space.
The project consists of a 14,560-square-foot housing addition, including 12 new patient rooms, consult areas, nursing offices, group therapy rooms, and a new patient courtyard as well as a ~6,000-square-foot renovation of existing administrative offices, an outpatient therapy unit, and a refresh of existing finishes throughout the facility.
Previously, the facility had 72 beds, and the expansion provided another 24, for a total of 96 patient beds. The total square footage is 67,569 square feet after the 14,560-square-foot addition was complete. The project also nets an additional 40 parking spaces for a total of 180 spaces. A new portion of property has been annexed for the parking lot and additional detention pond.
