TCAT Bartlett Satellite Campus
This project provides a new satellite campus in Bartlett, TN for the Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Memphis. The project site is located at the corner of Brother Boulevard and Appling Road in Bartlett, Tennessee on approximately 17.80 acres. The site is bisected by the Fletcher Creek Floodway running southwest to northwest across the property. The front parcel will be developed for this project. The building pad area will be raised approximately 3 feet to be above the floodway level. The site is accessible to public roadways in an industrial & commercial-zoned area.
The new single-story, 49,800-square-foot building, is designed to provide hands on instructional laboratories, classrooms, community meeting space and administrative support services. Labs will be in high-bay spaces with roll-up doors. Having the ability to educate over 150 students per term, the curriculum will concentrate on medical device manufacturing with additional programs for automotive and heavy equipment technology, industrial maintenance, welding, mechatronics, and HVAC repair.
