Cordelia at The Quay

Cordelia at the Quay is a 12-story luxury apartment complex across the Gulf in Sarasota, Florida. The building is a concrete structure and comprised of 240 units, 7 levels of parking with 683 spaces, and a retail component. Amenities featured include a rooftop pool, wine room, fitness center, game room, various lounges, outdoor patios, and pet spa.

Located in the middle of downtown with very little setback from the main road, this project has many logistical concerns to be solved: keeping all surrounding roads and pedestrian sidewalks fully active and safe, as well as having very little laydown space for construction. Our team also has to manage parking for surrounding retail as well as implement noise-management practices to accommodate the neighboring apartment buildings. This project required extensive pre-planning and following through with extreme precision. This building is also being constructed during some of the worst conditions our industry has seen – with unpredictable material shortages and price increases related to the global pandemic, our team stepped up to the plate to manage these items to prevent project impacts during the course of construction.
