The former corporate headquarters of Bayer Properties, located in the Redmount Park neighborhood off Arlington Avenue in downtown Birmingham, is getting a complete renovation of their old 55,000 square-foot office building. The new redevelopment will be converted into three separate tenant spaces.
Our portion of work includes demolition of building interior and exterior skin, 55,000 square feet of core build back to include a new lobby, elevator replacement, new exterior skin, and three separate office spaces. The new building will consist of efficient floor plates, refined material finishes, and acoustics. Tenants will share a common courtyard area as well as a double-height lobby and meeting space. Construction started in December of 2021 with a projected completion date of fall 2022.
