Avenue East Cobb

Originally opened in 1999, Avenue East Cobb was one of the first outdoor, pedestrian-friendly lifestyle centers in the United States. North American Properties wanted to upgrade the 22-year-old retail center with exterior improvements and a leasing focus that includes chef-driven dining concepts with a modern mix of retailers and restaurants.

Its redevelopment included demolishing portions of the central building to make way for an 8,000-square-foot plaza surrounded by restaurants with vibrant patios, a raised stage for performances, an LED screen for broadcasting live events, a deck with soft flexible seating, and two 2,500-square-foot jewel boxes. Connected to The Plaza is a concierge canopy extending over a drive aisle to allow for covered vehicle drop-offs. This renovation has allowed our client to bring in new tenants to an existing shopping center while also offering a unique social experience that is in the heart of the East Cobb community.
