Dell Children’s Bed Tower Expansion

Since 2007, Dell Children’s has been the leader in pediatric healthcare in the Austin area, providing exception, specialized care for children and their families.

The DCMC 4th Bed Tower project consists of the design and construction of a new 4-story, 72-bed pediatric hospital expansion associated with the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas. The new tower is located at the end of the existing curve for the North, Central, and South bed towers.

The tower will include one floor dedicated to pediatric critical care, one floor for hematology/oncology inpatient services, and another floor dedicated to general acute inpatient services, with a fourth floor shelled for future expansion. The new tower is expected to be completed in November 2022.
