UAB Medicine Inpatient Rehabilitation

The new UAB Medicine Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility is an 11-story, 346,000 square-foot building in downtown Birmingham.

This project will be located on 7th Avenue South, directly south of the existing Spain Rehabilitation Center (SRC). The scope of work includes site work and construction as follows: Four levels of service and loading dock, parking deck, and lobbies, with connections to the existing hospital pedestrian walkway, one shelled floor for future patient care, four levels of inpatient care with 106 beds, and two levels of administration, conferencing, and mechanical.
