Healthcare projects represent some of our toughest jobs. But building them, and building them to the highest caliber, also makes them some of our most rewarding jobs.
These jobs are rewarding for us, our clients, and the communities we serve. For West Florida Hospital, we completely re-skinned this 500-bed, six-story hospital – while the facility remained fully operational. Before construction started, Hoar and key subcontractors outlined a specific sequence of tasks to replace the enclosure on all six floors in 12 separate phases. The precise and repetitive nature of the construction plan enabled us to generate a highly accurate cost projection. As expected, we achieved delivery efficiencies through repetition and were able to return over $400,000 in savings to the owner.
