Hoar Construction named ‘Company of the Year’ by Construction Dive

by | Dec 6, 2018 | News

Hoar Construction has been named Company of the Year by Construction Dive, a leading industry news publisher.

“Hoar Construction likes to think of itself as a small company. But a roughly $232 million revenue jump in 2017 propelled it 30 spots up Engineering News-Record’s 2018 Top 400 Contractors list to no. 96, marking its first year among the top 100. Hoar’s big year wasn’t spurred by sheer luck or any one market, deal or initiative. Instead, it was the culmination and combination of careful planning and foresight to capitalize on favorable economic conditions,” said Kathleen Brown, Associate Editor of Construction Dive.

The 2018 Dive Awards recognize the industry’s top disruptors and innovators. These executives, companies, trends and breakthroughs are transforming the industry and shaping the future. Construction Dive solicited suggestions for title nominees from its 233,000+ readers.

Winners were chosen by the editors of Construction Dive based on resonance and industry impact.
