New St. Peter’s Anglican Church site among high-dollar building permits

Of the 12 new building permits issued thia past week for construction projects exceeding $1 million, seven are for projects in the Birmingham metro.

One of these permits is for the relocation of St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Mountain Brook.

St. Peter’s Anglican Church, located at 3207 Montevallo Road, will build a new 34,600-square-foot facility at 605 Hagood Street in Birmingham’s Crestline Park neighborhood. The development includes sanctuary and church spaces and would be situated on the 3.5-acre site adjacent to the Crestline Park Shopping Center.

A $1.2 million building permit was issued to Hoar Construction as part of this project.
