University of the South School of Theology

The renovation of two buildings, Hamilton Hall and the 1938 (Annex Building), and associated exterior work, including new building entrances, comprise the School of Theology.

Hamilton Hall was designed and constructed in 1968 as a two-story, masonry structure for classroom and office space for the Sewanee Military Academy. In the 1980s, Hamilton Hall and the 1938 Building (behind Hamilton) became the new home for the School of Theology, which relocated from their central campus location on University Ave. to this location on Tennessee Ave. The scope of work includes new interior spaces, a renovated auditorium, a new elevator, new windows, new roofs, new mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire security systems.
