Hoar Construction announced today the completion of construction on the latest project for Houston Methodist, the third-largest health care system in Houston, a $40 million orthopedics and sports medicine medical office building located on their Clear Lake campus.
The first phase in a multi-year expansion planned for the Houston Methodist Clear Lake campus, the new medical office building is home to Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at Clear Lake. The new Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at Clear Lake is a 158,000 square-foot, 6-story building dedicated to physical therapy and other future departments. The Medical Office Building opened its doors to patients in May 2021. Floors 1-2 include a therapy gym, clinics, aquatic therapy pool, indoor pitching lane, and a turf field with a goalpost. Floors 3-6 are core and shell with exception of restrooms, storage, mechanical, and maintenance offices. The Houston Methodist Clear Lake Orthopedics & Sports Medical Office Building will support and better serve the fast-growing Clear Lake region.
